The Waiting Game

Here we are at 36 weeks and 1 day and these girls are staying put for now at least. I had lots of contractions over the past week/weekend and thought maybe we would see some action but....NOPE they are staying put. I do feel blessed to have carried them this long and I know they will be strong healthy girls when they make their debut but the eviction date is definitely coming. Momma is uncomfortable girls! Baby A's head is -1 station which basically means its LOW LOW LOW and it makes it very uncomfortable for me to just get up and walk around. Don't get me started on the swelling either. My whole lower half is seriously unrecognizable to me. All Matt and I can do at this point is laugh at the weird things twin pregnancy does to your body.

We are killing this waiting game time with lots of movies and couch time. The weather here has also been a perfect excuse to just stay inside and do nothing.

A few pics from over the last few weeks.

First fire in our new house. We have the coziest den/ living room area to just hang out in. Soon we will be hanging out in here with two little girls!

Let's get this party started!

I have been meaning to start this blog for a while now but time just got away from me....so here we go. No time like the present 35 weeks and 4 days pregnant with fraternal twin girls. I had my weekly doc appointment yesterday and things are the same....no progress but he does think it will happen soon. If I don't go into labor on my own these girls are coming out Dec. 6th. Each girl weighs between 5 1/2 to 6 pounds so we should have some healthy twinks on our hands. Matt and I are both getting so excited/anxious for them to come. It's like we are just waiting for our new normal to start.

I'll post more when I have more news to report. These days I am not very exciting...its hard to get around and I get tired just loading the dishwasher.

I will leave you all with a few pictures from our maternity session that was weeks ago.....I am much more huge now. :) My friend Neely Brook took these photos and she does an amazing job. Neely Brook Photography
